It's always good to know that someone is tuning in.
Have you heard the 3 fabulous CDs by the Hacienda Bros.? If not, consider checking them out for a contemporary take on classic honky-tonk.
I'm listening to "Another Bridge to Burn" as I write this...
Carl H.

Re: Ray Price's Honky Tonk Heaven

Thanks much for the posting and the read, Serge
Carl H.

Re: Ray Price's Honky Tonk Heaven

Thanks for listening kind sire!

Re: Ray Price's Honky Tonk Heaven

I'm happy to see there are people out there who really appreciate good traditional country music, especially Ray Price's. I grew up in Bakersfield, California just as Buck and Merle were beginning to make a name for themselves. Ray Price was an icon in our household. As a teenager I was engulfed by Ray's fantastic voice and choice of music and muscians. If you enjoy the NighLife album, try LoveLife, Another Bridge to Burn, The Other Woman and my favorite Touch My Heart. All these albums are classic examples of how great a singer Ray was in the sixties.

Re: Ray Price's Honky Tonk Heaven

Realized I forgot to let you know that I included 'Blurt Online' in my Around the World in 10 Blogs list on Blogs.com.

Keep up the good work

Serge the Concierge
'The French Guy from New Jersey'
http://www.sergetheconcierg...

Re: Ray Price's Honky Tonk Heaven

Don't know much about ray Price, but if the music's as good as this review, I want a slice of that heaven
